General Conditions of Sale
These terms of sale govern the purchase of products marketed by Pasquale Mondatore (hereinafter referred to as the “seller”) through the website www.mondatore.it. All purchase contracts for products concluded between the seller and the customer via the website www.mondatore.it, according to the procedures indicated therein, will be governed by these terms of sale in accordance with Italian law and in particular Legislative Decree No. 70/2003 regarding electronic commerce and Legislative Decree No. 206/2005 “Consumer Code” with particular reference to the rules on distance contracts.
Any changes or new terms of sale will be promptly communicated to the customer and will be effective from the moment of publication on the website and will apply only to sales completed after their entry into force (through publication on the site).
Acceptance of Terms of Sale
The contract concluded between the seller and the customer is considered finalized with the acceptance, even partial, of the order by the seller. Acceptance is deemed tacit unless otherwise communicated to the customer by any means at the contacts provided during the purchase procedure. By placing the order, the customer declares to have read the general conditions of sale listed below and to have understood, shared, and accepted them.
Purchase Methods
The customer can purchase only the products available on the website www.mondatore.it at the time of placing the order, as described in the relevant descriptive and informative sheets.
Illustrative images related to individual products are provided to the customer to facilitate their recognition. In case of changes due to packaging modifications by the manufacturer, the photos may not exactly match the appearance of the delivered product.
The correct receipt of the order is confirmed by the seller through the sending of an email to the email address provided by the customer during the purchase procedure. This message will contain the date and time of receipt of the order and an “order number” that the customer must keep for their records and use in any further communication with the seller. In the event that the seller does not accept the submitted order, the seller undertakes to send an immediate communication to the customer via email, to the address provided by the customer in the form. The prices of the products listed on the website www.mondatore.it are to be understood as public prices and therefore include VAT.
The seller reserves the right, at any time and without notice, to change prices by promptly updating the website. If the price is published incorrectly on the site, the seller reserves the right to withdraw from the sale.
Right of Withdrawal: Information and Procedure
In accordance with the provisions and regulations of the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree No. 206/2005), you can return products free of charge within 14 working days from the delivery of the purchased products.
To proceed with a return, simply send us an email at info@mondatore.it indicating the following information:
- order number and date as reported in the confirmation email
- invoice number
- specify which products the customer intends to exercise the right of withdrawal for (identifying them with the item code)
- specify the reasons for the return
Our office will send you all the instructions via email along with the waybill to conveniently proceed with the return.
To proceed with the return, the following conditions must be met:
- the purchased product must be substantially intact: upon arrival at the seller, the product will be examined to assess any damage or tampering;
- the right of withdrawal is reserved only for individuals, excluding purchases made by entities conducting business activities.
- The seller undertakes to refund the amounts as reimbursement to the customer within 14 working days from the receipt of the returned products. The refund amount will be equal to the value of the products indicated in the invoices.
Shipping and Delivery
STANDARD SHIPPING – Free Delivery
The seller delivers and ships its products, purchased on the site, via specialized couriers. Any shipping costs, indicated in the purchase procedure form, are at your expense. Upon receipt of the goods, you are required to verify the integrity of the package. If you have any doubts about its integrity, you must indicate it on the delivery receipt. In particular, you are required to verify, at the time of delivery, that: the number of packages corresponds to those indicated in the order; the packaging of the package (and the packages) is intact, i.e., not damaged or, in any case, altered. Any disputes must necessarily be presented to the courier who proceeds with the delivery, specifying that the collection is carried out “with reservation.” This evidence must be followed, strictly within 8 days from delivery via email, by the description and qualification of the “defects” or “alterations” of the packages, parcels, etc. Once the courier’s document is signed, you can no longer make any objections regarding the external characteristics of what has been delivered, and therefore the sale will be finalized.
Please note that delivery times include only working days: holidays (January 1, January 6, April 25, May 1, June 2, August 15, August 16, November 1, December 7, December 8, December 25, December 26) are excluded.
Payments
For payment of your orders placed on mondatore.it, you can choose between: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, GooglePay, ApplePay.
At the time of payment with a credit card, you will be asked to enter your card details. To further ensure the security of the online transaction, you will need to enter the credit card security code.
The billing details will be those of the shipment. You can choose to enter billing address details different from the shipping address only within the same country. After the invoice is issued, no changes can be made to the data indicated therein.
VAT is already included in the price you see on all pages of the site.
Please be informed that the invoice related to your order, sold and shipped by www.mondatore.it, will be included in the package you receive at the shipping address indicated.
In case of return, a credit note will be issued.
